this isn't a request, except for myself...i've been giving go's at krystal for a while now, and i just felt the urge to suddenly put all my practice to use by drawing a good pic. and this worked out--and it only took me around 20 minutes! <3

i really like the way she turned out, she's much better than all the other times i've drawn her.

<3 i finally beat starfox assault!!! well, my brother and i did...see, our strategy for tough bosses in the starfox games is for him to steer and me to press a. i've got really fast fingers for some reason, and so we whittle down the enemy's hp much faster because we focus on only one thing, which also happens to be our strength....

AND SHE IS IN COLOUR!!!!! <3
i'm so proud of this one...

Definitely, you have some very good coloring techniques. I like your shading style. Wish I could do it like you.
Everything is fine but it seems like you had problems with the face, don't you? :D

Probelms with the face...Hmm...I'm trying to remember...I think so. Starfox faces are more realistic than cartoonish, the opposite of Sonic. This pic was done halfway through a slew of Sonic work, and so I wasn't really used to the style...I would actually say that I had more trouble with the body, though. She looks too stiff.

The body is fine, you did it well. It's... the face. It's either Starfox style or Sonic style. Why don't you try drawing a sketch with many faces of krystal¿ that's what I do sometimes, when I can't draw a characters face.

Good idea...I would, but I haven't felt the need to draw Starfox characters, yet. When they become more mainstream for me, I'll start to do concept art and all that, but for now, the Falco and Krystal pics were a one-shot deal....
